Cendana
Freshly ironed cloth at grandmother's house.
Woody, milky, powdery
The story
Timor sandalwood was nearly logged out of existence. Our oil comes from smallholder groves in South Central Timor that replant every tree they harvest, and we buy only as much as they choose to sell.
It is soft, almost milky: iris and rice water keep it clean, while white musk keeps it close to the skin. A perfume people notice only when they stand beside you.
When to wear it The office, Sundays, any time at all.
